The Honourable Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Enugu State, Barr. Chris-Roberts Ozongwu, has been recognized with the Achievers Award 2024 by the Enugu State Media Innovation Association. This prestigious award celebrates his remarkable dedication to human empowerment, capital development, and unwavering commitment to excellence in governance.
The Enugu State Media Innovation Association commended the Commissioner for his exceptional contributions to staff training initiatives and the effective implementation and monitoring of government projects. They expressed their unwavering support for his initiatives and encouraged him to sustain his transformative efforts in the state.
While receiving the award, Barr. Chris-Roberts Ozongwu expressed heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah, for fostering a culture of excellence among Commissioners in Enugu State. Reflecting on his role, the Commissioner stated, “I have been part of that bicycle that has the spokes and the tyres, so I’m part of the spokes that make the tyres go.”
