From the New Enugu City, the Monitoring and Evaluation Team proceeded to the Enugu State University Teaching Hospital (ESUTH), Parklane. Here, the air is thick with the scent of progress as Governor Mbah turns the facility into a quaternary medical destination of international-standard facility designed to end medical tourism in the South East.
In recognition of the central role of human capital in healthcare delivery, the administration is also investing heavily in the welfare and training of medical students. Purpose-built student hostels and modern classrooms are being constructed with architectural excellence and functional design, providing a conducive environment for learning and professional development.
