The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Enugu State, Mrs. Clara Nwakaego Eze, has been honoured with an Achievers Award by the Igbo Etiti Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ). The award is in recognition of her outstanding contributions and consistent excellence in budgetary performance across the state.
Mrs. Eze, known for her remarkable intellectual capacity, strategic thinking, and commitment to transparent and efficient public service delivery, has continued to set a high standard in budget planning and implementation within the Ministry. Her leadership has greatly enhanced fiscal discipline and accountability in Enugu State’s public finance system.
While receiving the award, Mrs. Eze expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the journalists for the honour bestowed on her. She commended their efforts in promoting accountability and transparency through their work and reiterated her resolve to continue delivering quality service to the people of Enugu State in line with the vision of Governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration.
The recognition is seen not only as a celebration of Mrs. Eze’s personal achievements but also as a testament to the positive transformation taking place within the Enugu State Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
